Introduction
Welcome back to Part 2 of our deep dive into the cursed tools of the Jujutsu Kaisen universe! If you haven’t read Part 1 yet, make sure to check it out first, as we’ve already covered some of the most notable cursed tools. In this part, we’ll continue our exploration and talk about more cursed tools that have shaped battles in the series.
Gakuganji’s Guitar: Amplified Sound Waves as Cursed Energy
Okay, so we’ve covered quite a few special grade cursed tools in one go. Now, let’s talk about a stylish cursed tool. This stylish cursed tool is a guitar, which belongs to the not-so-stylish old man Gakuganji. With the help of this guitar, the sound waves that come out are infused with cursed energy and get amplified, allowing Gakuganji to attack.
Essentially, the attack here is with cursed energy in the form of amplified sound waves. That’s the purpose of this guitar. How powerful this tool is hasn’t been specified anywhere, and I don’t know either, but if I had to guess, I’d rate it as Grade 1 at most. If asked otherwise, I’d say Grade 2. What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
Humans and their tools… amusing. But never underestimate a weapon that can wound the soul itself.
– Sukuna
Nanako’s Phone: Photography with a Cursed Twist
By the way, there’s another cursed tool that’s very cool but not very powerful, and that’s Nanako’s phone. Remember the girl from Shibuya who used to take photos with her phone and then manipulate those photos, causing the manipulation to happen in real life? Yes, that phone is also a kind of cursed tool. Now, I don’t know if she made it herself or not, but its purpose is to take photos and manipulate them. It’s not a very overpowered cursed tool, so we won’t waste much time on it. Let’s move on.
Kamutoke: Yorozu’s Gift to Sukuna
Now, let’s talk about some cursed tools that have been used in the recent manga fights against Sukuna. The first tool that comes to mind is the Kamutoke, a cursed tool that Yorozu created for Sukuna using her construction technique, making a binding vow right before she died. She literally gifted it to Sukuna, and we’ve been calling it Yorozu’s gift. By the way, let me tell you that this is exactly the same cursed tool that Sukuna used during the Heian era.
What happened to that tool back then, I don’t know, but the one Yorozu created here is an exact replica. With the help of this tool, Sukuna can strike lightning anywhere and give anyone electric shocks. We don’t know the grade of this tool, but if Sukuna is using it, I can easily say it’s a special grade cursed tool. By the way, when Sukuna was fighting with Higuruma, this cursed tool disappeared during Higuruma’s confession, and we haven’t seen it return yet.
Higuruma’s Gavel: Versatility in a Hammer
Speaking of Higuruma, his gavel (or hammer) is also a kind of cursed tool. This hammer is quite multi-purpose, my friend. Sometimes it gets small, sometimes it gets big; sometimes it gets long, and sometimes it gets short. Why does that sound dirty? Anyway, Higuruma can teleport his gavel short distances, meaning he can bring it from one hand to the other or teleport it behind you to hit you on the head.
This tool has some interesting techniques, and at one point, Higuruma even made it bigger to hit Sukuna. So yes, this tool is quite useful. Although its grade hasn’t been specified, I’ll ask you—what grade would you place Higuruma’s gavel or hammer in? Special grade or Grade 1? Don’t go below Grade 1; it’s definitely not below that.
The Split Soul Katana: Piercing Sukuna’s Soul
Moving on, let’s talk about the katana that Maki used to pierce Sukuna. Yes, it’s none other than the Split Soul Katana. This is easily a special grade cursed tool that ignores the surface hardness of any object and attacks the soul directly. It doesn’t matter if your body is as hard as stone; this katana will target the soul. The first time we saw this was in Toji’s hands when he used it to cut down one of Geto’s most powerful cursed spirits during the Star Plasma Vessel incident. Do you remember that cursed spirit? I can’t recall its name, but I know it was Geto’s toughest cursed spirit, and Toji easily cut it down with the Split Soul Katana.
Maki also used this katana in the recent manga to attack Sukuna, piercing his soul when Sukuna couldn’t even properly heal his soul with his Reverse Cursed Technique. But before that, Maki used the Split Soul Katana to wipe out her own Zenin clan. By the way, here’s a secret: the Split Soul Katana that Maki is using is actually a replica. Yes, Mai created it when she sacrificed herself for Maki so that Maki could become empowered. Now Maki is fully Heavenly Restricted, and she doesn’t even need her glasses anymore.
The Dragon Bone Sword: Maki’s Weapon of Choice
At that time, when Maki was wiping out her own Zenin clan, she had the Split Soul Katana in one hand and the Dragon Bone Sword in the other. This is also an amazing cursed tool created by Juju Komiya. Who is Juju? Remember that bald guy from Season 1 who fought with Gakuganji, the old man with the guitar? He had many tools, right?
He used to make cursed tools. So yes, he made this sword, and it’s his masterpiece. Literally, he never made a better tool in his life. This sword basically works like Black Panther’s new suit—it stores kinetic energy and cursed energy and can release it at will. What happens when it releases this energy? The opponent gets attacked with immense force, and the sword moves incredibly fast. If the sword’s movement is so fast, the opponent won’t even know when it was swung and when their head was separated from their body.
Mahoraga’s Sword of Extermination: A Blade of Positive Energy
Again, the grade of this cursed tool hasn’t been specified, but I’d like to ask you—what grade would you give it? Speaking of swords, how can we forget Mahoraga’s Sword of Extermination? I’ve mentioned many times that this sword is infused with positive cursed energy, and we all know that cursed spirits are made of negative cursed energy. So, if this sword even touches a cursed spirit, that cursed spirit will disappear.
Sukuna himself said that if he were in his cursed spirit form, Mahoraga would have defeated him with this Sword of Extermination. So yes, this sword is quite overpowered. In fact, this is the sword that cut Gojo’s hand. So, in my opinion, this sword is easily a special grade cursed tool, whether you believe it or not. But I know you’ll believe it because you’re good people.
Festering Life Sword: A Cursed Tool from the Culling Game
Finally, I believe I’ve covered all the cursed tools, or is there one left? Wait a minute—during the Culling Game, there was that cockroach cursed spirit that had a weird, disgusting sword. It was called the Festering Life Sword. With the help of this sword, that cockroach could lay eggs inside someone, and from there, cursed spirit-infused insects would emerge.
If an insect is emerging from inside you, it will definitely cause trouble—who knows where it will go or what it will do. So yes, that’s its power. If there are any other powers of this tool that I missed, let me know in the comments because I don’t remember much about it since there was so much fighting during the Culling Game that it’s hard to remember everything.
There’s a reason cursed tools are feared. They’re not bound by the same rules as sorcery. They defy expectations and turn battles upside down.

Conclusion: Have I Missed Any Cursed Tools?
So yes, if I forgot something, I’ll give you some homework—write in the comments about what it was. I feel like I’ve finally covered everything. Still, if I’ve missed any cursed tools, please let me know in the comments because I’ve covered over 20 cursed tools in two parts of this blog, so it’s quite possible that I might have missed something small. Also, let me know the exact number of cursed tools—I’ve said over 20, but what’s the exact number? If you liked the blog, please share it and follow me on Facebook and Instagram. Sayonara ….
